The new Drupal7 requirements are a bit more strict now. (Full list here)

Php Data Objects (PDO) must be activated for Drupal 7 to install and run correctly.

Not all hosts do have PDO active. Even if PDO package is not new to php, it comes not by default and a lot of hosts do not like Php Data Objects (PDO package ) because they do consider that cpu utilization is too high.

At Comforthost we know what is important. The customer. So we have 2 servers with PDO on it so that you can enjoy Drupal in the latest flavour. You can request one new account with us here. Just put in the order notes that you want to use this account for Drupal v7 and that you want to use "Php Data Objects" or "php with PDO" and our technicians will ensure that the account is created into one server with PDO installed.

If you have already one Drupal site but you cannot upgrade because of features missing in your current host, just order a new account with us here. Write into the order notes that you need help with transfering the old site (Provide the username and password of your old site please) and our technicians will move the full site from your current host. If it is a cpanel host like ours you will preserve 100% of the information with 0 downtime!. In our servers, since PDO is available, you will be able to upgrade to the latest version of Drupal and if you run into any trouble we will just help you out and do it for you.

Should you need any other specific requisite on our servers we will enable it in a safe fashion for you or move your account to a place where you can have it. Customer is first and we want you to feel comfortable with us. So just ask!
